NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Larry Ainsworth

Drawing upon 24 years of experience as an upper elementary and middle school classroom teacher in demographically diverse schools in several U.S. states, I have a varied background and wide range of professional experiences to share. I am proud to be the author or co-author of more than 20 books, including my comprehensive new book series, Integrating Teaching and Learning: “Timeless Essentials” for Creating Integrated Units of Study.

While I am currently an independent author-educational consultant, and course creator, previously I served as the Executive Director of Professional Development at The Leadership and Learning Center in Englewood, Colorado. I have traveled nationally and internationally for 25 years to assist school systems in implementing best practices related to standards, assessment, curriculum, and instruction across all grades and content areas.

I have enjoyed facilitating countless on-site and virtual workshops to assist leaders and educators in understanding and implementing “timeless” education practices in all content areas, PK-12.

I look forward to continuing to work with educators and help the next generation of teachers navigate the world of standards based education so students can thrive.

About the Rest of Our Team

Jennie Hurley: I am passionate about supporting student success through education. After working in Higher Education for 20 years as a program coordinator, career counselor, and part-time professor, I earned my Master of Education degree with an option in counseling and have been working with Larry Ainsworth Consulting as an Executive Assistant and Education Success Facilitator.

Jena Sautter: I am excited to join Larry’s team because I believe that every child should be supported to feel and become successful. As a former teacher in Denver, Colorado and the former owner of two successful, franchised preschools, I know what it is like to facilitate success with kids and educators alike! I am passionate about my role as a Professional Learning Associate in supporting the PK-12 community.

Why We Do It

We believe in education. We believe in supporting teachers, administors, and students. We believe in this Integrating Teaching and Learning System because we have seen that it WORKS!

This Clarity Pathway was created to guide educators forward no matter what their role in PK-12. These "timeless essentials" will always be relevant and crucial and we are so proud to offer educators a path to follow for their own clarity and the clarity of students in the classroom and beyond!
